Still Life
These still life works are painted from studio set-ups using multi-layer glazing techniques from the 17th and 19th centuries. The artist's intention is to create amusing art historical comparisons by referencing images from both Realist and Modernist traditions, in the hopes of creating a harmonious synthesis between abstraction and naturalism.
